IDG World Expo, producers of Macworld Conference & Expo, and Apple today announced CREATE, an industry event which will focus on technology and professional solutions for the creative arts, including design and publishing, video and music. To be held July 14th to 18th, 2003, at New York’s Javits Centre, CREATE will offer an agenda full of the creative community’s best practices, including new insights from cutting-edge artists in a wide spectrum of disciplines.
CREATE is an event for filmmakers, directors, graphic designers, broadcastjournalists, publishers, musicians, music executives, producers and othersdriven by a desire to learn the latest creative techniques and to exchangenew ideas with their peers. CREATE’s in-depth conference programme is designed for beginners and experts, professionals and consumers — all those who want to immerse themselves in creative arts.

CREATE’s educational programmes, running all week long, will include one and two-day tutorials, two levels of conference sessions forbeginner/intermediate and expert users, labs and various featurepresentations — each with a different focus. The CREATE exhibit floor, openfrom July 16th to 18th, will feature products that complement the event’seducational content and emphasise technology for the creative arts.
CREATE will feature expert speakers with real-world experience in graphicdesign, publishing, video and music. IDG World Expo will develop CREATE’seducational content in collaboration with an event advisory board comprisingspecialists in these focus areas. CREATE’s conference sessions will coverthe latest technologies and feature case studies to vividly illustrate thecreative arts in action.
