The new iPod nano is available within 2 weeks for a maximum retail price of Rs.9,400 (MRP) for the 8GB model and 11,200 (MRP) for the 16GB model in silver, black, purple, blue, green, orange and pink through Apple Authorised Resellers. iPod nano requires a Mac with a USB 2.0 port, Mac OS X v10.4.11 or later and iTunes 9; or a Windows PC with a USB 2.0 port and Windows Vista or Windows XP Home or Professional (Service Pack 3) or later and iTunes 9.
