In Australia, most Apple products purchased directly from Apple include seven days of complimentary AppleCare+ covering unlimited incidents of accidental damage reported in the seven-day period. At the end of the seven-day complimentary period, you can continue your coverage by purchasing AppleCare+.
For 30 days after a new Apple purchase you can get a new plan through the settings app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Or within 60 days you can go to an Apple Store to purchase a plan.
Theft and loss coverage is included for iPhone with your AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plan.
When you protect your iPad with AppleCare+, you’ll get coverage for accidental damage for one Apple Pencil and one Apple‑branded iPad keyboard. AppleCare+ also covers any in-box cables and power adapters that came with your covered Apple product.
You can get your device repaired a few different ways. You can mail it in using a prepaid shipping label from Apple. If your iPhone is lost or stolen, you can get started on filing a claim at mysupport.apple.com/theftandloss. Your replacement will be shipped to you and cannot be picked up at a store.
